Zehava
Yachin , an Israeli sculptor and jeweler,
has been teaching art to elementary and middle school
students for over 25 years. She takes joy in exploring
multiple mediums.
She studied sculpture with the artist David Pe'er at
"The Studio" in Ra'anana , Israel .
Her works have been exhibited in several shows in "Beit-Yad-Lebanim"
in Ra'anana, Israel.
She has commissioned to create a sculpture for Beilinson
Hospital, Israel. Her sculpture "Above and Below"
is on permanent display at the hospital.
Zehava studied silversmithing at Montgomery College,
Maryland and continues to explore this rich medium privately
with a renowned jeweler in Israel (Ziva Shahal). Each
piece is exquisitely handcrafted into a unique sculptured
piece of jewelry.
Her elegant designs are in gold and silver incorporating
gemstones she has traveled far and wide to handpick
for her creations.
She blends her colors subtly and each gem is set to
stand out uniquely while blending into the design.
Her jewelry motifs incorporate symbolic Jewish elements
: the pomegranate, the khoshen, the breastplate of the
ancient Hebrew priest, and more...
